Summer Workshop 2026
We're back at the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Lowell for our 4th ANNUAL SUMMER WORKSHOP!!
8/15/2026
Summer is almost over, and our fourth annual summer workshop has officially come to a close. This year we had 20 enthusiastic students, eager to learn about robotics.
A HUGE thank you to the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Lowell for providing us with a space to host our workshop for a second year! Your support made this possible!

Every day of the workshop was a thoughtfully blended mix of fun, teamwork, and innovation! Students each had a partner to collaborate with and a TA to help and guide them as well.
Each day of the workshop started with a team building challenge- cup stacking, building towers, and more- as well as a review kahoot to refresh on what the kids’ learned the previous day.
But the most important part is our robotics presentation. Our instructors taught important concepts, such as the engineering design process (Identify, Design, Create, Iterate, Communicate), and coding in Python- knowledge and skills that will be useful throughout a person’s life.
They also taught the students some important aspects of FIRST LEGO League. Such as robot design, basic navigation and attachment building/types- in addition to the aforementioned python coding. With a different topic each day, by the end of the week the students were able to complete challenges without any help from the TA’s, coding in python fluently.
On the last day of the summer workshop, we held a parent information session. The session provided resources to the parents if they wanted to continue in robotics, and competition pathways for the kids to look to in the future.
The kids’ excitement for robotics was truly incredible! Their curiosity, enthusiasm, and teamwork made the experience so rewarding to watch. We’re already looking forward to another amazing summer together!
